The April 21st 2013 Club meeting

Postby Stg1Regal » Sun Apr 21, 2013 5:39 pm

Was a great meeting , had some awesome Chicken and Rice, mashed tators, cookies, pumpkin pie, and a apple spice cake.

Had a great time talking with friends and fellow Buick nuts, a couple Buicks made the drive and showed their Tri-Sheilds with pride.

Want to say thanks to those who made the long journeys and short to be a part of it.

Mostly discussed was a reveiw or orverveiw that the club rules and guidelines be updated.

Steve Smith wants your stories and pics of your Buick, when and how you came to love Buicks and what you have done or doing to your Buick.
He's trying to get a newsletter out, and needs to fill the pages.
Also discussed was the need and cost and logistics for the paper and cost of printing the newsletter.

The shirts will be ordered, various sizes and various styles IE :: Sweatshirts ,womans Tank tops, T-shirts, long sleeve and short sleeve, and the possibility of Hoodies, all with Old "GUS" logo on it, (reference the one with his t-shirt with the 455 horsepower and torque numbers on it ) with that said Steve needs a very high resolution picture of that logo sent to him.

The discussed up coming meetings and the one happening in MAY 18th at Kenny Wells place in Fort Wayne , in conjuction with doing some dyno testing runs of our Buicks at CJ's performance Dyno cell, also talked of maybe touring Sid & Belva Meyer's car collection.

Then onto June , noone at the time was open to hosting so the idea was brought up to meet in Muncie IN on June 15th with our Buicks and go to the MUncie Drags , it is Free Spectator nite sponsered By Discount Tire of Muncie, pick our passes there and cruise to the track as a group.

Anyone else open to hosting a meeting ? Please let us know.

If I missed anything those there need to chime in thanks!!!
